The Wind condition in Rhodes

Rhodes is situated in the south west of Greece, on the west cost of the island we not only enjoy the well known Meltemi, but the bay of Ialyssos has a thermal wind which is generate from the venture effect between the island, Turkey and the hills of Mont Smith.

Almost every afternoon the wind picks up to a nice 20 knots.

Our wind range is between 16 and 25knots. Inside the bay of the Windmill, the first 200m are sheltered from the wind which gives the opportunity to all beginners to get into the water.
